  1. Just wanted to say thanks, Timothy--for a GREAT read in THE STRANGE CASE OF ELIZA DOOTLITTLE. As an author myself, and an author of historical fiction, I know how hard it can be to make it look plausible, and you've done a more than competent job, with a book I didn't put down for a week, until I finished it. Will be going on to the STRANGE CASE OF THE DUTCH PAINTER very soon, but I wanted you to know how much I enjoyed your work, how genuine and real your characters are (even when they're actually classic characters other people created), and how well you spun a genuinely exciting yarn. Well done! I'm definitely a fan!
